Protect your iPad from a stray bullet with this bulletproof iPad case

Frequently find yourself getting shot at while browsing the web from your brand new iPad? Unfortunate, but a fact of life. The Ballistic cover from VestGuard UK is made of ”cutting edge uni-directional aramid fibers processed to a high tolerance in VestGuard’s state of the art facility” that makes it possible to stop 9mm fire.
That means that it’s not any kind of metaphor, it’s literally bulletproof. While it might not be able to help with a wrist-breaking tiger striped Desert Eagle, the company knows what they are doing – they have a history of making body armor, de-mining helmets, and gloves.
My favorite part about the mockup (or at least, the header image from Gizmodo) is that it’s not only a first generation iPad, it’s even running iOS 3. I guess that makes sense – iCloud doesn’t exist in those old days. No matter, you can just go into the woods with your iPad.
