Google’s entire business is based on advertising, and advertising is all targeting based on many factors.  Google already has tons of info on you, your location and everything else – but what if they had data about your location?  A new patent surfaced shows the companies interest in utilizing the environment around you, such as the temperature, sound levels, or air composition to serve up relevant advertising. Although patents don’t always surface as products, it should be interesting to see if they start advertising gas masks if your phone detects the air around you is particularly nasty.
